President Obama's first day in the white house.

We've talked about the new elections in the USA and listened to Obama's oath. We've done a listening activity. I got the idea from a WS in the website called www. eslprintables.com.


Wh 1- What was on the President’s agenda on his first day at the White House ?

  1. the Global Financial crisis
  2. middle-east diplomacy
  3. Education new rules
  4. Guantanamo Bay
  5. war in Iraq
  6. the US economy recession

2- He had to take a little time out for ..

  1. a new official ceremony
  2. lunch with the First Lady
  3. to answer the congratulations messages he received from world leaders

3- Why ?

  1. the first oath couldn’t be recorded
  2. there was a mistake in the words
  3. the supporters and the TV viewers couldn’t hear the oath

But the 20th Amendment says “the administration comes into power at ………………… on …………
